Sometimes a couple of years ago I saw Basseck Mankabu’s on Tumblr, I bookmarked them but then I totally forgot it. But then a few days ago I came across some of his collages again and this time I didn’t let them slip by me.
So now featured Basseck Mankabu, who’s living and creating in Lisbon, Portugal, is an artist who cut and pastes beautiful, analog collages. What caught my eye and I really like about his works, is that some of the collages are very straightforward/clear, minimal just two-piece pieces but he doesn’t stop there. He also creates collages that are much more complex, which are versatilely vibrant by both, structure and used elements.
